Brilliant photos Ali, I always loved the way a distant storm looked when viewed from the water. Somethign about it seemed forboding and peaceful all at once.

Allah Yesalmek! Shukren

Thanx for your comment, but if you see the date on the picture, you will find out it is old. So, this wan't in the present time. It was my first trip to Turkey back in Jan 2008, it was freezing cold back then. I was in Turkey three months ago too, and it was beautiful.
It was my bad anyway, I should've mentioned the date. I have been busy lately and wasn't able to post anything, so I posted these pictures just to share them with the readers.

Yes, they are brilliant. My camera got kinda frozen because of the cold weather especially in Istanbul. I like taking pictures in such weather coz life seems so calm as if it is a moment of silence at the whole place.

Hi A'Jay!

You r welcome

Picture No. 4 is Ayasofya mosque and museum, and as I recall it is right across the street from Sultan Ahmed Mosque (Istanbul) coz I took the picture on my way out from Sultan Ahmed mosque.

(Wikipedia): Hagia Sophia (Turkish: Ayasofya, from the Greek: Αγία Σοφία, "Holy Wisdom"; Latin: Sancta Sophia or Sancta Sapientia) is a former patriarchal basilica, later a mosque, now a museum in Istanbul, Turkey.
